I.D. Verification done right on your computer through the Experian credit bureau. Does NOT count against student’s credit history. Students provide personal information that will prompt several questions about their history. Students must answer 75% of I.D. questions correctly to advance to final quiz.
**This may not be a viable option for people too young to have established a credit history, who have fraud protection on their credit, or do not have a social security number.**
IN-PERSON VERIFICATION via NOTARY PUBLIC
COST: Varies
-Free notarizations at many banks if you are a customer
-$10 maximum allowable charge in California
- Download and print final quiz
- Take Quiz
- Appear before a Notary Public and show your driver's license
- Have Notary place his or her stamp on the final quiz answer sheet
- Pay Notary directly
- FAX or Mail notarized quiz sheet for grading
NOTE TO OUT-OF-STATE RESIDENTS:
I.D. Verification requirement is NOT waived simply because you live out of state. Either option above will allow you to achieve this requirement.

I.D. Verification requirement is not waived, even if you are on active duty. In most cases, either option above will allow you to fulfill this requirement. However, if you do not have access to a notary public, your COMMANDING OFFICER may sign off in lieu of a notary stamp.
