You may take the ENTIRE course from your HOME computer according to your own pace. Certificates will be placed in the mail on the next business day after your completion and sent DIRECTLY TO YOU. It is YOUR responsibility to make sure you complete the course with enough time to get your certificate to the court by your court-assigned due date.
The county where you received your citation REQUIRES that you have your identity verified PRIOR to taking your final quiz.
AT THE END OF THE COURSE, you will be given a choice of TWO options for accomplishing this:
1) VERIFICATION FROM HOME
Your identity can be verified FROM HOME
Via a limited credit check through EXPERIAN
If you choose to verify your identity through the credit bureau EXPERIAN we will use some of your data submitted upon registration and check your identity online. This will happen in real time and at NO time will we have access to or keep your confidential credit information. Additionally, this check will NOT appear on your credit nor will any record of this interaction be noted negatively on your credit history. This method will merely verify your submitted information and then randomly ask you questions about your credit history.
If you verify the information and answer correctly, you may proceed with the FINAL QUIZ online WITHOUT HAVING TO ATTEND A TESTING SITE. Your certificate of completion will be mailed DIRECTLY TO YOU from our corporate office on the NEXT BUSINESS DAY AFTER YOUR COMPLETION.
You will only be given one (1) opportunity for verification through Experian.
*You should have no trouble being successfully verified if you are personally answering the verification questions. However, If your verification is not successful, you will be required to attend a testing site and you will be charged an additional $5.00 to cover the cost of providing an additional means of verification.
**This option is NOT suggested if you are too young to have established a credit history or if you do not have a social security number.
2) YOU MAY ELECT TO ATTEND A VERIFIED TESTING SITE
This option will require that you PHYSICALLY ATTEND a facility where you must show your driver's license and then take a short, painless, 25-question ONLINE quiz. Already included in your enrollment fee is ONE (1) 35-minute session, which is MORE than enough time to complete the process. You need to get 80% or better to pass, but you may take the final over as many times as necessary within your 35-minute session. This test is "open book" and links will be provided to all sections of the course.
**Additional time spent at the location or a repeat visit will result in an additional charge of $10.00 per half-hour/visit.

*NOTE TO OUT-OF-STATE RESIDENTS:
At this time, SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY SUPERIOR COURTS will waive the verification requirement to OUT-OF-STATE RESIDENTS who received citations in San Bernardino County. Please choose the "SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY (Out of State Residents)" option when registering.
**As of April 1, 2007, JUVENILES (under the age of 18) are now PERMITTED to take home-study/internet traffic school courses.
