After successfully completing the course work for BESTtrafficschool.com, there will be a short, painless final exam. Before you can take this exam the COURT that issued your citation requires that your identity be verified by the testing agency CCS (Coordinated Court Services, Inc.).
**THIS REQUIREMENT IS THE SAME FOR ANY TRAFFIC SCHOOL YOU CHOOSE!!!**
For your convenience we can offer you three options for this identity verification procedure:
OPTION 1
ONLINE VERIFICATION USING A WEB CAMERA:
The Web Camera Online Identity Verification is done entirely online, all you need is a web camera attached to your computer. This process carries an additional charge of $5.00. The procedure is very simple:
- You submit a credit card or debit card for payment
- The website will give you very simple instructions to follow. You will need to show your driverÕs license as well as yourself in front of the camera.
- This process takes approximately 3 to 5 minutes to complete.
- Once this process is completed, you will be directed to the actual final exam.
If you do not have a web camera on your computer you may switch to a computer that has one or you may purchase a web camera from a local electronics store. Simply go to the computer that has the web camera and log back in to you traffic school.
OPTION 2
ONLINE VERIFICATION THROUGH EXPERIAN CREDIT CHECK:
The Experian Identity Verification carries an additional charge of $5.00. The procedure is very simple:
- You submit a credit card or debit card for payment
- Information that you submitted during course registration will be used to confirm your identity.
Please be assured that this verification process will not appear on your credit record, nor will it reflect negatively on your credit history, nor will we have access to any of your confidential information.
Very simply, the personal data you submit upon course registration will be compared to the information in your credit file. Additionally, you will be asked a few quick, random questions regarding your credit history. After you answer these questions correctly, you will be allowed to take your final exam online and be spared the inconvenience of traveling to a Notary Public for identity verification. After you complete the exam you will be notified immediately by CCS whether or not you passed.
Do not choose this option if you are under 18 years of age. Do not choose this option if you do not have a credit history. If you have never owned a credit card and have never borrowed money for a car or a home in your name, you probably do not have a credit history. Do not choose this option if you have credit fraud protection on your credit history. This will prevent the system from looking up your information, but still charge you.
If your identity is not verified by this procedure, you will be required to download a copy of the final examination, have a Notary verify your identity, and then fax or mail the exam to CCS for grading. CCS will then forward your completion certificate to the Court after you pass. The entire process can take several days. The $5.00 for Experian is NOT refundable. This is true whether or not you pass the Experian ID verification. If you fail Experian the first time, you may take it one more time for $4.50. This money is not refundable. You may try to take Experian a maximum of two times.
OPTION 3
IDENTITY VERIFICATION BY A NOTARY PUBLIC:
The Notary will confirm and attest to your identity verification by means of a photo I.D. Check your phone directory for Notary locations. Notaries will charge a small fee. Free Notary services can be obtained through some local banks and libraries. This is the procedure:
- Download and print a copy of the final examination from CCS
- ITake final exam, appear before Notary and have the notary verify your identity by placing their certification stamp directly on the final examination answer sheet.
- IFAX or MAIL final exam to CCS Testing Serives.
After your exam is graded and you pass, CCS will send your Completion Certificate to your Court.
Important:
Your completion Certificate not be processed until your final examination is received and graded by Coordinated Court Services (CCS) and a passing grade.
YOU WILL CHOOSE YOUR I.D. VERIFICATION OPTION
AT THE END OF THE COURSE
Our course will remain ACTIVE and OPEN during your final, with links back to all study sections, so you will have no trouble passing.
You can take your final quiz AS MANY TIMES AS NECESSARY until you pass WITH NO ADDITIONAL CHARGES.
Upon your successful completion of the final quiz, CCS will send your Certificate of Completion DIRECTLY TO YOUR COURT. Certificates will be mailed within 2 business days of your completion.
CCS does NOT offer any express mailing options at this time.
It is YOUR responsibility to complete your final quiz with enough time for CCS to mail your certificate to your court so that it arrives ON OR BEFORE YOUR COURT-ASSIGNED DUE DATE.
Although most courts have a small grace period, some do not. If you have procrastinated and have ANY doubt that your certificate will make it on time, we STRONGLY recommend contacting your court directly and requesting a one-time extension.
